open iTunes then  get file info(take your iTunes Music Library),click Menu bar pull down Get info File or command+i(key)



file information.



check Start Time,Stop Time. iPhone ringtones Within 40 seconds,stop time from start time decides it. then convert this file to AAC,click Menu bar Advanced pull down Create AAC version.



got 40 seconds AAC file,this AAC file drug drop your desktop.then remove convert AAC. delete 40 seconds AAC file from iTunes Library.



rename this AAC file, .m4a to .m4r.

TO

double click this AAC file to iTunes registration.



to  iPhone go to settings.



Tap open settings.



tap Sounds.



choose custom rigtones.
